I believe this is National Socialism in its most formal sense, as it Nationalizes Free Speech? I mean this is crazy talk. People often mistaken Orwell's political speech "Doublethink" with a psychological disorder like "Cognitive Disonance." While different, I believe both can exist within the same framework or world view, but I think such a scenario leads inevitably to schizophrenia and perverted incentives to adverse consequences. I've been listening to C-span radio today, Exec comp packages. Now that is something we should be able to get our handcuffs around, but alas finding these invisible hands within the multiple personalities of your average corporate citizen is proving Freddie Krugger light horror indeed.
